Really beautiful camping spot. The fenced off campsites were perfect for taking our dogs. The sites were slightly overpriced for what you are getting, but nicely sized/spaced out. There wasn't too much ground to cover for going on walks but the facilities were very good, there were enough bathrooms, private showers, hot water and great shower heads.
Lovely campsite which ticked all the boxes!
Great camping site with all the necessities you might expect. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating as well which made our experience very pleasant.
Really nice rustic campsite and we really enjoyed our stay for the weekend. We took a fenced-off campsite and had our own bin and braai and the ablutions were lovely. Our dog really enjoyed the weekend as well and there is a nice forest loop to take them for a walk.
The Crooked Tree is a well maintained and comfortable campsite. We thoroughly enjoyed the small walking trails and sitting next to the quiet river where we were lucky enough to spot kingfishers 3 times during our brief stay.
What a spectacularly beautiful space in nature to spend time with both human and furry loved ones. Plenty of shade, a lovely little river to paddle in and stunning bird life and clean private bathrooms.
I would definitely recommend a visit here and my friends and I will be back soon.
The owners are really friendly and all the other dogs we encountered were sociable and pretty well behaved.

scenery peaceful quiet time to get away especially if you a couple n need a break from the hasel and busel
Mountains and Hikes are spectacular

Beautiful magical, with so much to do.
Going to the upside-down house
Travel by day prevents being surprised by potholes, so pack in some patience when heading this way. Magaliesburg's Little Roadhouse had friendly service and fabulous slap chips. The Route 66 Events held at Mt Grace Hotel were most enjoyable. Looking forward to our next visit.
History of the Magaliesberg.
