More info about Beaulieu
There are not many suburbs in Gauteng that boasts the countrified and tranquil atmosphere that the area of Beaulieu exudes. Though it finds itself in close proximity to the more raucous suburb of Kyalami, there is a distinct ambience of country living in Beaulieu where most of the homes have been shaped into Tuscan villas and horses leisurely stroll along the acres of green landscape that many of these homes are situated on.
Pronounced ‘Bewley’, Beaulieu comes from the French language meaning beautiful and it is a fitting description for this leafy and fertile area. A highly desirable and affluent neighbourhood, this charming suburb features grand horse estates, pristine and sizeable gardens, as well as a distinct lack of commercialisation as well as development. Beaulieu is indeed a breath of fresh air in a city that is known for the competitiveness of the rat race as well as the fast pace of life.
