More info about Bloukrans Bridge
Spanning a gigantic gorge that separates the Western Cape from the Eastern Cape, the 216m-high Bloukrans Bridge is well-known for being the highest bungee jumping spot in the world. Adventure seekers arrive from all parts of the world to attempt the jump and most are not disappointed – the gorge is a long, long way down. Jumps are carried out from the archway under the road deck and just getting to the launch area is a challenge in itself, particularly for those with a fear of heights.
Face Adrenalin is the company offering the bungee jump which began all the way back in 1997, however, the first jump made from the bridge was in 1990.
