For any South African, the name Ceres brings to mind the popular local company which makes the finest natural fruit juices. And during the winter months, visitors always flock towards this tranquil locale to see the first remnants of snow on the mountain peaks in the valley. There are a number of ways in which you can reach Ceres conveniently. There’s the R303, the R46 and the N1 through the Karoo Poort and Theronsberg Pass in the foothills of the Hex River Mountains.
