Delightful overnight stay at B’s. Facilities excellent, Very clean and very comfortable. Delicious food. Warm and friendly atmosphere. We felt so well looked after. An oasis of a place. Highly recommend.

Harding is the ideal road trip stop-off en route to Durban and surrounding major towns. This inland farming town, located within Kwazulu-Natal’s tropical South Coast region. Harding lies in the Mzimkulwana River Valley. It was established as a military outpost as a result of the British takeover of the East Griqualand territory in 1874. The town’s name was borrowed from the first Chief Justice for Natal, Sir Walter Harding. Essentially a timber and dairy farming area the town is linked to the better known coastal town of Port Shepstone by the Alfred County Railway. Newcomers to Harding can experience the tranquillity of Natal rural life or stop and refresh here before continuing further north towards Durban’s hub of activity.
