Jacobsbaai (Jacobs Bay) Reviews
Baviana Beach lodge lived up to the splendor of the surrounding nature and the sea. The host Belinda, made us feel at home immediately with her friendliness and helpfulness. The added touch of a bottle of wine, chocolate, fruit and coupons for a free coffee latte at the nearby restaurant made our weekend xtra special. We are looking forward to visit this special guest house again for the fantastic view of waves crashing on the rocks from the lodge, and to get close by, also just a minute's walk away, as well as the lovely garden. Beautiful and comfortable setting!
The peace and quiet.
Peaceful, friendly people and very clean
Beautiful coastal town - stunning views!
It is such a neat and quiet and relaxing town.
Very quiet little town - not much to do but to relax. A nice SPAR or decent shop would be nice.
Quiet, quaint and beautiful West Coast!
Everybody is so friendly. We had coffee at the coffee shops, ate at restaurants. Johan from Togreyersvlei wedding venue took us to all the lovely places, the food and all the friendly people were amazing, thank you, we will be returning, again.
The views.
Peace and tranquility in Jacobsbaai (Jacobs Bay).

Origins of the name Jacobsbaai are unclear and the hardy veld would have likely catered for the odd cattle and sheep to sustain the farm owner. The lack of natural water resources and landing rights ensured that no development took place. Water is now piped throughout the region and Jacobsbaai sprang up from unspoilt surroundings.
Out here, one has the feeling of miles of nothingness with only the relaxing sound of the sea breaking the silence. The beaches are pristine – Jacobsbaai has 7 coves in... Show more
