Also near La Lucia, is the Sibaya Casino and Entertainment Kingdom. This casino, inspired by traditional Zulu architecture, offers a wonderful selection of entertainment, including casino facilties, restaurants and bars, childrens entertainment and various shows. Krakatoa is a magnificent three tier show bar used for events and as a nightclub on Fridays and Saturdays.

The quaint Italian restaurant of Al Firenze is one of Durban’s secret delights. Locals love to keep this place on the down low as it is unpretentious, with authentic Italian cuisine and offers delicious pizza, spinach tortellini in sage butter with zabaione, grilled prawns and fresh line fish.
The Tap House, Pint Size Pub, is both a pub and restaurant, serving a variety of drinks, including craft beer on tap. The Tap House has a small but delicious menu and is family friendly.
Inside the La Lucia shopping mall you will find the Europa Italian deli, the perfect spot to relax and grab a coffee. La Lucia shopping mall offers many other relaxed cafe style restaurants such as the ever popular Cafe Taste and De Hollandse Bakker Croissanterie.
Just outside of La Lucia, in Glenashley, you’ll find the elegant Blockman’s Grill and Bar, serving some of the finest meat, chicken and seafood dishes. Blockman’s has a casual yet sophisticated atmosphere and offers magnificent views.
