Experience this magical, untouched place on foot while walking through the trails of Lotheni which is situated in a remote section of the Ukhahlamba Drakensberg Park. With spectacular views of the Drakensberg, birdwatching and peaceful walks will boost your fitness levels while promoting relaxation and escapism. The Emadundwini Trail is a 11.8 km circular route crossing a number of small streams and travelling up a steep incline while less strenuous trails such as the Eagle, Falls, Canyon, Jacobs Ladder and the historically interesting Gelib Tree are also recommended. Spot over 172 species of bird, ride your mountain bike for miles and fish for trout or explore a few of the activities in this area. Sixteen kilometres of the Lotheni river is available for fly fishermen.
