Kuhestan farm cottage offers the best self catering accommodation. Their gardens are so beautiful and the atmosphere so relaxing. Actually this is our second visit in four months.. I think we'll be back in the not too distant future.
Lots of outdoor activities. There is something for everyone. Really good food and good views. Go hiking, birding, driving, adventurous activities, eating, drinking or just relax. Very dog friendly.
The Herb Cottage was lovely, situated in the this lush Forrest.
Tzaneen area absolutely great.
If you got a 4x4 take the forest drive in Woodbush Forest.
Forest walks by the Dap Naude dam.
Scenic.
We loved our stay at Lind-End, we stayed in the Studio which was very pleasing with its modern decor and facilities. Apple TV with Netflix, Prime Video and Showmax. A Braai Area, and a outside deck with an amazing view of the George's Valley. They have a gorgeous pool on the site which is shared with other guest, we were lucky that we had the farm to our self for the most part. Our host Samantha was excellent, and provided us with lots of ideas of what to do in the area. We enjoyed many walks in the mist and rain and in the sunshine right from outside the Lind-end Gate, and also loved the Louis Changouin Trail from Haenertsburg. Would definitely be back again.
Beautiful forests, dams and good options available to eat out!
Visited the Berry farm to pick organic Berries, and really enjoyed lunch and cheese cake at the restaurant.
Also visited Pot and Plaugh for their very famous pizza.
Scenery!!!!! Fruit!!!!
Nature!
About Self Catering
Self Catering places can be found from rural to urban areas and can vary in what they offer. They allow plenty freedom and is a great inexpensive way to spend your holiday. They have been widely classified as a “Home away from home”. This is a good option for guests who don’t mind cooking their own food, and are looking for a more independent and flexible form of accommodation. For budget and large families, we would recommend self-catering for a more personalised experience.
