More info about Mkhomazi Gorge
The 6000ha Mkhomazi Wildlife Reserve lies within the Cobham section of the Maloti Drakensberg Park in the KwaZulu-Natal Province. The reserve protects the Mkhomazi state forest at 1860m above sea level and hikes through this area are magical; the thick wooded sections are home to several shy forest creatures and the curious vervet monkey, while out in the sunny valleys the mountain views extend far into the horizon.
