Morrumbene Self Catering Accommodation
Morrumbene Reviews
What a beautiful place to stay and forget about the rest of the world! It feels as if you are the only ones in the world.
Chalets are neat, clean and excellently equipped with all you will need. Housekeeping is excellent.
The manager and staff at the resort are extremely helpful and you as visitors are treated and catered to. Sergio needs to be commended for going out of his way to walk extra miles for us as visitors! What a gem!
Bring enough food for your stay as it is quite a mission to get more supplies. It takes hours out of your day to go to town. Be sure to use a 4x4 vehicle.
Allow enough time for travelling to Morrubene as it takes hours to get there. Keep to the speed limit and have lots of patience! The time it takes is worth it!
We explored some of the towns in the area and were amazed by the friendliness of the local people. It was safe walking around the towns. There was no problem whatsoever with crime. You feel safe! South Africa can really follow the example of Mozambique in the area of crime prevention.
What a wonderful experience!
We will have to visit Morrubene Beach Resort again.
About Self Catering
Self Catering places can be found from rural to urban areas and can vary in what they offer. They allow plenty freedom and is a great inexpensive way to spend your holiday. They have been widely classified as a “Home away from home”. This is a good option for guests who don’t mind cooking their own food, and are looking for a more independent and flexible form of accommodation. For budget and large families, we would recommend self-catering for a more personalised experience.
