Mtubatuba is located in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa, roughly 200kms north of Durban. This is where one can ideally explore the rich culture and unique attractions of Zululand. The traditions and old ways of people are well preserved in a Living Museum and this is one way culture can be experienced. There is also a market that sells traditional artefacts.

The greater Mtubatuba area also offers some fine restaurants and excellent sporting facilities, as well as various accommodation establishments. Mtubatuba is surrounded by large forest plantations and is conveniently situated for access to great world renowned attractions. The Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park is the first Wolf Heritage site in South Africa and has a well diverse eco-system. On the lake are canoeing safaris as well as horse-back safaris through the grassland.
