If you want to escape the pressures of the big city, but not lose the convenience associated with having various facilities on your door step, then Oaklands is a good base.
The major shopping centres such as Sandton City, Eastgate and Rosebank are nearby with Grant Avenue in trendy Norwood tempting your tastebuds. Take the Glenhove off-ramp from the M1 to dine at any of the 50 plus restaurants leafy suburbs of Norwood and spend a vibey evening in one of the bars and clubs. If you feel like shopping, movies or browsing at roof-top market visit the Rosebank area.
