Pennington Reviews
Nice, clean, pleasant environment!
Beautiful area, lovely long beach with large tidal pool for kids and separate rocky areas to explore. Not too crowded. Town itself is friendly and small but has everything you need.
Convenient close to Durban.
More info about Pennington
The verdant village of Pennington on the south coast of KwaZulu-Natal is blessed with a gorgeous sloping beach that backs up against a coastal forest. The area has a number of elegant homes and two of the province’s best golf courses are situated on the village outskirts.
Much of Pennington was once owned by a sugar baron who conserved a large tract of land and left it in trust for the public to enjoy. The area is called Umdoni Park. About Cottages
Guests escape the noise and bustle of lodges by opting to stay in either fully self-catering or bed and breakfast cottages. Self-catering cottages are a home away from home and come fully equipped with everything guests need. Most self catering cottages also come with a cleaning service, Dstv, and a private patio/entertainment area. Guests who opt for bed and breakfast cottages enjoy their own private patio/entertainment area, luxury amenities, Dstv, and cleaning service. There is often a small kitchenette, if guests wish to do a little cooking, and a relaxing lounge area. Cottages are ideal for families, small groups of friends and couples wishing for a more private retreat.
