Rooibos, or red bush directly translated, is a tea extracted from the aspalathus linearis plant, a hardy shrub endemic to the Cederberg region in the Western Cape. The tea is a completely natural product that is high in anti-oxidants with no preservatives nor caffeine, has scientifically-proven anti-inflammatory properties and generally boosts the immune system.
