More info about Scarborough
Scarborough is a small seaside village with unspoiled beaches and mountains, right on the doorstep of the Cape Point National Park. It is about 30 minutes drive from the city. Scarborough is entirely surrounded by conservation land.
To the south is the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, part of the Cape Peninsula National Park, as is the beachfront, as well as the coastal strip between Scarborough and Misty Cliffs. To the east of Scarborough’s beautiful mountain backdrop is Baskloof Private Nature Reserve, a wonderful piece of unspoilt land. A walk on the demarcated path will take you beyond the crest line, to an area where there is no sign of human impact.
About Self Catering
Self Catering places can be found from rural to urban areas and can vary in what they offer. They allow plenty freedom and is a great inexpensive way to spend your holiday. They have been widely classified as a “Home away from home”. This is a good option for guests who don’t mind cooking their own food, and are looking for a more independent and flexible form of accommodation. For budget and large families, we would recommend self-catering for a more personalised experience.
