The sumptuous African country of Zambia is world-famous for its many dazzling natural spectacles and the South Luangwa National Park is hardly the exception. South Luangwa is situated on a staggering plot of just over 9000-sq km and centers itself on the supreme Luangwa River. Another wonderful, but altogether different way to explore the reserve, is by taking a safari hike; these are done with the assistance of an expert game ranger and can be a 4 hour sojourn or an overnight expedition camping in one of the bush camps that is quite rewarding in its own right.
