Really closed to Aquila. The Area around is really amazing. In the Town you can buy everything for your Braii.
Not much to do or see there - but a neat little Town.

A natural remedy for bronchial-related problems is to take a trip to Touws River in the Cape Province where the air is clean and the climate dry and crisp. It’s a perfect recipe, and why so many travel to Touws River in this part of South Africa known as the Karoo. The Karoo is a semi-desert region consisting of scrubland and wide open spaces with farms stretching as far as the eye can see. At first glance the area may seem desolate but there are many interesting and unusual small towns worth exploring, and Touws River is a prime example.
Travelling from Cape Town to Touws River is half the fun – the route traverses the Hex River Mountains and into the astonishing Hex River Valley, with dappled tones of green in summer and magnificent russet colours in winter. About Cottages
Guests escape the noise and bustle of lodges by opting to stay in either fully self-catering or bed and breakfast cottages. Self-catering cottages are a home away from home and come fully equipped with everything guests need. Most self catering cottages also come with a cleaning service, Dstv, and a private patio/entertainment area. Guests who opt for bed and breakfast cottages enjoy their own private patio/entertainment area, luxury amenities, Dstv, and cleaning service. There is often a small kitchenette, if guests wish to do a little cooking, and a relaxing lounge area. Cottages are ideal for families, small groups of friends and couples wishing for a more private retreat.
