Safe and secure with friendly people
We stayed at Surfstar the views were incredible and the pool was sparkling. We could walk to the beach and had an amazing meal at Nina’s restaurant.
We will definitely be back.
The suburb Wavecrest is very peaceful and safe with great restaurants nearby. We stayed at Tecoma 38 at JBay and would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone as it is almost on the beach(50m) but also got a pool and could accommodate our whole group of 14 people. The interior is beautiful. Will definitely book again.

For those who are a little adventurous and enjoy the company of other travellers, you can decide to stay at a Backpackers. Often having to share a room with others as well as costs, it is incredibly inexpensive. Not recommended for those who want privacy, this is best suited for those who wouldn’t mind meeting various other interesting travellers.
