Welgemoed is situated in the Northern suburbs of Cape Town. This tree-lined suburb lies nestled under Tygerberg hills just 20 minutes from Cape Towns CBD, thirty minutes from Paarl and Stellenbosch ideal for daily visits to the Capes Premier wine estates.
Welgemoed is located off the N1 between Bellville golf course and Tygerberg Nature Reserve. This popular up market region commands beautiful views of Cape Town, the valley and the distant Stellenbosch Mountain range. Tygerberg Reserve contains some of the last remnants of the threatened Westcoast Renosterveld a threatened vegetation, it is also a birders paradise, and great for hikes and picnics.
The 18-hole Bellville golf course has great views of the Hottentots Holland Mountain range. Welgemoed is 5 minutes away from the Tygervalley shopping mall, one of the best in the country with hundreds of shops, restaurants and entertainment areas. 15 minutes away from the Durbanville wine route.
