The Piketberg Cultural Historical Museum first opened in 1983. It is now situated at the old Synagogue in Church Street. The museum is a interesting, educational experience for young and old.
The museum provides insight into the town’s Jewish community, original school yearbooks and photos of former residents, as well as many exhibitions and artefacts donated by residents. Outside, there is also a lovely medicinal herb garden.
