*Blaauwberg beach is about 40 kilometres (25 miles) long and very popular for tanning, swimming and long walks. It is ideal for surfing, kiting and other water sports, and a paradise for surfers because of wind conditions. The beach is famous for great views of Cape Town, Table Mountain, Signal Hill and Robben Island.
