Cliffhanger Cottages self-catering accommodation boasts two luxury Chalets and one garden cottage close to Knysna, along the beautiful Garden Route. Spectacular views, very private, close to nature, and custom built finishes mark these cottages as something special.

If you are looking for a superior Knysna log cabin with spectacular views, Cliffhanger self-catering cottage lives up to its name. Overlooking the indigenous forest, with the magnificent Outeniqua mountains in the background, you can lounge lazily in bed or enjoy a sunbeam on the sunbed. Cliffhanger is our largest cottage with one bedroom (airconditioned) and a spacious open plan living room / kitchen which leads onto a covered and semi enclosed deck. All rooms have large windows facing the stunning unspoilt views of forest, mountains and sky. Chilling on the deck, sipping sundowners, is mandatory! Cliffhanger cottage offers a wood fired hot tub with a spectacular view. It also offers a spacious bathroom with a big shower (also with a view!), a toilet, bidet and basin. Let the artistic flair delight you: perfect for a honeymoon, anniversary, or to get away.

While it is the smallest of our self-catering cottages, it nevertheless offers all the conveniences you require and it is well-shielded from the nearby main house. A big plus for this cottage is that it is naturally cool in summer. It is open plan with a separate bathroom and shower with a high window. Enjoy the view and the many birds flitting about from your comfy bed or the covered veranda.
