The Restaurant staff are quite nice and helpful.
The view was stunning and the staff were very friendly. We were booked in a normal room and asked for a sea view room and the lady at reception was so helpful and changed our room to a sea view... that is what I called service. Will recommend this if you pass through Wilderness.
Really pleasantly surprised as the hotel has vastly improved since last stay over a year ago, and is excellent value. Under new management. Lovely and clean.

Hotel General Manager and staff made our stay an extra special, unforgettable one. As a family we appreciated the fact that everyone went the extra mile to make our vacation comfortable, and, that includes the ladies that put out supper tables for us on the patio so we could enjoy the lovely sunsets. I also appreciated the warm smiles and compliments from your kind staff as we went about our day.

Our family of six adults had the pleasure of staying at the Wilderness Beach Hotel over Christmas and New Year. My two brothers from America had joined the rest of the family from Johannesburg and we were all pleased with our choice of hotel for this special family holiday. Management and staff all went out of there way to make our stay pleasant and no request was too much trouble. The staff all had smiles the whole day long, and wise words from management about bathing safety and slippery pathways due to rain for my eighty-one year old Dad were much appreciated as nothing spoiled our memorable holiday. The buffet breakfasts, were delicious, and such a lovely start to the day. The hotels location is amazing with beautiful sea views and access to a lovely beach allowing for long walks. It is also close to many great restaurants and easy car rides to many lovely parks and attractions that the area has to offer. Our family ended the holiday feeling refreshed, with wonderful memories, and all agreeing that we would like to return sometime in the future. Thank-you Wilderness Beach Hotel.

Wilderness offers a wide variety of activities for all ages with an abundance of hiking trails, canoe offerings and paragliding available, whilst being surrounded by some of the most pristine beaches our country has to offer. If you love nature and adventure, Wilderness is your playground. For daytrips, you have the option of visiting neighbouring areas including George, Sedgefield, Knysna and Plettenberg. This is definitely a home away from home.
