Welcome to Stanford Valley Guest Farm,
Stanford Valley Guest Farm nestles in the valley of the Klein Rivier, 10km outside Stanford village. We offer comfortable accommodation in 6 self-catering cottages (of which 3 are family cottages) and 10 large en-suite rooms. Enjoy our safe and peaceful haven, have an exhilarating swim in our large dam or go hiking. Don’t be surprised if you startle a duiker or rheebok on the way!

The most beautiful setting and very comfortable accommodation. The staff were all helpful and welcoming and efficient and the food in the Manor restaurant exceptional.
Lovely space. Great service with fab staff. Beautiful dam for a swim. Lacked the little touches like flowers in the room and a hairdryer etc.
We had a great time with the whole family: Hiking, swimming in the dam and mountain biking.
Good location next to the wine farms and close to Stanford. The Manor restaurant offers delicious food but we would have liked to have breakfast included for the non self catering units.
We stayed for 5 nights in a Fynbos room with beautiful views of the fields, forest and mountains. The room is warm, tastefully decorated and perfect for a winter getaway with lovely fireplace and bath. Elsabe and Sarah are wonderful, warm hosts and have a fantastic team. Everyone from housekeeper Lillian to the restaurant staff Daniel and Alex were incredibly attentive and no request is too big or small. The grounds are beautiful - large lawns and gardens, fields with horses, Mountain View’s in all directions. The restaurant Manor House is exceptional and whips up an amazing breakfast and the lunch and dinner menus are really special with loads of locally sourced produce (see separate review of the restaurant). Highly recommended for a couples breakaway for the coming winter or family - the huge lawns, swimming dam and horses are great for kids to run and stay entertained.
We were a party of 6 for the weekend and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the rooms had everything we required, we were welcomed when we arrived but then left to our own devices which was perfect!! We wanted to book in again for the period during Christmas and New year but unfortunately were not able to - would definately go back but this time for a longer period.
Great place, good experience for the children as well.
