Set in the foothills of the Saronsberg Mountains, just outside the picturesque, historic town of Tulbagh, Vindoux is a family-run guest farm offering the perfect retreat. Nestled between fruit trees and vineyards, Vindoux is the proud home of the only luxury treehouse accommodation in the Western Cape.
As if that wasn’t enough to help you unwind, Vindoux also has a Day Spa, offering a wide variety of beauty and relaxation treatments, onsite dining, gym and dam fishing. And just to ensure that you really do feel a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, why not sit back on the treetop stoep and spot some wildlife in the game camp?
The farm boasts four treehouse suites, a self-catering Tree Lodge and rustic self-catering cottages to suit all needs. There also an intimate function venue ideal for small events.
So whether you are looking for a quiet couple’s getaway or a chance to get together with friends, Vindoux has something for everyone.

My partner and I checked in for a 3 night stay and did not want to leave! The magical treehouse, majestic wildlife, and first class service (breakfast in bed!) are just a few of the reasons why we will be back -- sooner than later!
My husband and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary at Vindoux. We stayed in the honeymoon tree house which was beautifully decorated with petals on the bed when we arrived. The room with en suite bathroom is large and luxurious with beautiful views of the mountains and the buck grazing down below. The spa is right on site which was so convenient and we felt super relaxed after our back massages. The staff are friendly, polite and helpful. The continental breakfast was delicious! Would really recommend this place to anyone who wants a special and private getaway - we had a fabulous time there!.

Scenery
Wine, scenery, sunset
Beautiful, historic and quaint little town. Stroll down church street and have a roosterkoek at Kole & Deeg. Highly recommend the Gin Yard at Vindoux wine farm. The Spar gets ridiculously busy on long weekends so rather come prepared unless you want to stand in line for 30 mins. The Tulbagh Nursery is awesome if you’re into gardening and plants. And take the Bain’s Kloof pass if you want a beautiful scenic route!

We found Tulbagh to be close enough to Cape Town for a quick weekend away with family & friends.
Clean town with stunning wine farms, wine tasting and lovely restaurants.
Very picturesque with great hiking, mountain biking trails.
Lots of convenient shops in the town.
Can't wait for our next visit.
We loved our Sunday lunch at Tulbagh Hotel and Champagne tasting at Krone.
We went to Essere lodge for a weekend and loved it! Have done many wine tastings at the surrounding farms, love going there often.
