Fiddlers Rest Bed and Breakfast is set in a grand English style mansion with lush tropical gardens and abundant bird life.
We are situated in upper Morningside – Durban’s most prestigious address. We are central located and close to:
In Room Facilities:2 GARDEN SUITES: both with private entrances leading onto a beautiful private garden. One room has a queen size bed and the other has an option of 2 twin beds or king size bed.
GARDEN COTTAGE: Surrounded by lush tropical gardens overlooking the swimming pool. The cottage consists of double bedroom with queen size bed, fully equipped kitchen, lounge/dining area with double sleeper couch in lounge.
The cottage is suitable for self catering or long term accommodation.
INSIDE SUITE: Consists of 2 adjoining rooms sharing 1 bathroom. One of the rooms has a queen size bed & the other a double bed. An extra single bed can be added if necessary. The inside suite has a wonderful view of the garden and pool and also overlooks Mitchell Park.

The suburb is a gentrified area of Durban located about 2 kilometres inland from the Indian Ocean coast, on the south bank of the Umgeni River. It is the closest residential suburb to the Moses Mabhida Stadium.

We really enjoyed our stay and the host was friendly.
Extremely happy with our stay, the food was fabulous, the service exceptional, the beds comfy, Lillian and Tonny were very friendly and made it the most comfortable stay!
Super accommodation, excellent central location. Hosts went out of their way to help us with car troubles. Would definitely stay here again.
