Stoneyhall Farm is situated at the foot of the Southern Drakensberg, a place where the rolling green hills and clear mountain air are conducive to unwinding and relaxing.
Guests can enjoy bass fishing in the dams at Haycroft lodge or enjoy bird watching on the scenic walks available on the farm.
In Room Facilities:Stoney Hall Farm offers self catering accommodation in spacious, neat and comfortable cottages. In all accommodation linen, electric blankets, heaters and towels are provided. Limited firewood supplied. More wood is for sale on the farm.
The Castle and Bamboo cottages each have 2 comfortable double bedrooms downstairs and a spacious loft with 4/3 more beds. It is ideal for 4 adults and 4/3 kids. Each cottage can accommodate maximum 8/7 people. The double-story cottages are spacious, comfortable and fully equipped. The central fire place creates a cosy atmosphere, especially on chilly winter evenings. Linen, towels and limited fire wood is supplied.
The Lily and Protea self-catering log cabins are an ideal romantic getaway for 2 people. They are nestled in a lush blue gum forest, each with an open-plan sleeping and living area and a fully-equipped kitchen. The oval bath is the ideal place to unwind. Enjoy the abundant bird-life from the comfort of your own veranda. Linen, towels and limited fire wood is supplied.
Area Information:Haycroft lodge is set along the banks of a beautiful lake. It is 1.5km from the main Stoneyhall Farm where you can soak up the panoramic mountain views. Stoneyhall Farm is a working farm where one can come and unwind and enjoy the peace and quiet we offer.

We had a lovely time.
Santie was so warm , inviting and friendly.
We stayed in Castle cottage which is a beautiful building.
The only thing that seemed to be in everyone's way was the little basin in the downstairs very small bathroom .
The views of the Drakensberg are breath taking .... it's all so quiet and peaceful.

Stoneyhall Farm is one of the most beautiful and well managed accommodations I have had the pleasure of staying at in the Drakensberg. The Host was more than accommodating and friendly and it felt like we were staying with friends rather than a Guesthouse. Thank you, Santie - for making our stay so special.
We had a lovely stay, unfortunately we had to return earlier due to the lockdown.
Awesome scenery with peaceful surroundings. The crowning glory is the bath, at tree level with mountain view.

Mountain views and the breath of fresh air
It's far enough away from all the hubub to really feel like you're away from it all but also has a lot available to do if you so wish. The scenery is beautiful and the air is fresh!
Hiking, swimming, relaxing.
If you're in to adventure, then Underberg is the place to visit. There's no shortage of trails for running, hiking and mountain biking. It's close to the Drakensberg and Sani Pass.
Breath-taking beautiful! Well stocked convenience store (Elands Rest) and a few nice restaurants to have coffee. Just very cold, even in Nov.
