The most amazing place to go for a few days. Nadia and Stephen top class host and hostess as well as the staff. Food you cannot fault. Decor whole ambiance I cannot fault anything.
It is a little gem in the Midlands. Homely and tranquil, an excellent breakaway to fill up your tank!! Everybody at Qambathi is extremely friendly and welcoming and we felt very special. The food is out of this world!!! Except for the fact that we loved it, our four legged kids loved the space and freedom!!! Thank you Stephan, Nadia and team Qambathi!!
We spent 2 nights at Qambathi with the new owners Nadia and Stephen. What a superb treat, the hosts were welcoming and warm, the venue is set in a very tranquil setting. Our room was very comfortable and the small attention to detail appreciated, the sherry in the rooms, rose flower on the bed, lovely shampoo and conditioner and white clean linen. The venue allows one to relax, we played games with our children and went for walks. The food is delicious. The staff are friendly, helpful and aim to please. The presence of wildlife is an added bonus ad our children loved finding porcupine quills. The wine list is an added bonus with some farms we had not heard of before. We loved how owner support local businesses through their food, décor and wine purchases. The road there does have pot holes, so one needs to drive carefully. We were sad to leave this place and will definitely return. We are excited to see what the new owners have planned for Qambathi.

From the minute we arrived we were treated well by the friendly staff. The food was amazing and the room was clean and cozy. The setting was stunning and the bird life plentiful, Zebras everywhere. We will definitely be back.
Yoga classes, wine tasting, outdoor romantic picnic, delicious barbecue, bio natural local food and many more. The owners are such a lovely, young and nice couple. They make a very friendly atmosphere and take good care of their guest - you check in as a guest and check out as a friend:)) They have a lovely funny two little jack russels, three beautiful horses and also two zebras that sometimes looks through the window of the main house curious what we do 🤣 The food and wine is omg - great! Surrounding - peaceful and stunning ❤️ The whole lodge is a great combination of modern and rustical look. Very comfortable bed! Everything is refreshed now and as they are just starting to make this place even more wonderful I can’t wait to go there again to see what kind of new attractions and improvements they brought into life. Nadia and Stephen thank you for making our holiday such an amazing unforgettable experience!
I stayed in the Garden Suite which was truly amazing. A real hidden gem surrounded by stunning scenery, I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The food and drink was first class and the hospitality shown by the owners, Stephen and Nadia was second to none. Loved the early morning yoga and sipping wine on the veranda at sunset. A magical place and I can’t wait to go back!
I visited after the recent new owners have taken over the Lodge. What an ambient setting with beautiful decor and attention to detail. I experienced a level of care not often experienced by the new owners as they ensured my stay was comfortable and I had everything I needed. The food was absolutely delicious and the hospitality top class.

We arrived, literally 2 days after the new owner's Nadia & Stephen took over of this beautiful escape to the country.
The welcome drink was just the start of continuous excellent service, great food and attention to detail. Oh, let's not forget to mention their tremendous wine selection.
The linen and towels are brand new which was the cherry on top to an already tastefully styled & comfortable room.
I can't wait for our return escape to Qambathi to see the renovations and improvements that Nadia & Stephen are planning.
