The Vinelands on Alpha guesthouse is a quaint Old Cape Dutch style guesthouse nestled in a quiet suburb of Brackenfell. The owner run guesthouse offers a warm and friendly atmosphere with personalised service. Centrally located it is an ideal place to stay for your holiday or business trip.
The main house comprises of a lounge area, bar, restaurant/dining room and two budget rooms (sharing bathroom facilities) and a lovely stoop covered by vines for your sundowner or just relaxing with a book. In a separate wing you will find three spacious en suite bedrooms with a communal lounge area overlooking a tastefully landscaped garden and large swimming pool.
Our restaurant offers lunch and dinner on request and also caters small functions of up to 30 people. A buffet breakfast is included in the rates. There is also a thatched braai/barbeque area for the convenience of guests. Come and experience country living in this serene setting in the Northern Suburbs of the Western Cape.

Stunning!
My mid80 year old and fragile parents stayed for 2 nights. The room was spacious and clean and the beds comfortable. They loved the aircon in the room. Philip was the ultimate host and, according to my mom, he makes the best muffins ever.
Breakfast is excellent.
Hospitality is excellent.
Host is friendly, kind and awesome.
Rooms are big clean and modern.

Our experience at The Vinelands was superb. Phillip is a wonderful host, a really caring and personable host. My family enjoyed his warmth and even some travel advice when we needed it. I had a wonderful stay at The Vinelands on Alpha. Phillip was very friendly and provided an excellent breakfast. Staff were great and room very comfortable. Didn't get a chance to use the pool but it looked lovely.
We stayed during Xmas and New Years eve with a party of 7. The owner Phillip of the guest house turned out to be a excellent chef. We stayed almost every evening at the guest house to have dinner. He even threw a Xmas lunch and a New Years Eve Party with live music! Phillip is a warm welcoming person and well caring. The rooms were nice and clean. Tomorrow is the last day and we will miss this guest house.
