Historcal Monument in the Heart of Swakopmund is a renovated, historic one-bedroom apartment located in a hundred-year-old house with original wooden floors in the historic centre of Swakopmund in Namibia. The apartment is just 100 m from the beach and is within walking distance to shops, restaurants and all other amenities.
The self-catering apartment features a kitchen, lounge and bedroom and is decorated with antique furniture. The main bedroom contains a queen-size bed . The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a fridge, stove and oven, toaster, washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also a four-seater dining table and the lounge area is equipped with DSTV.
There are plenty of activities in and around Swakopmund to keep guests occupied, including quad biking, dolphin cruises, township tours, sand boarding, skydiving, fishing, and scenic flights.

We camped at Alte Brücke for 3 weeks...loved the grass and private ablution facility. All the coffee shops and restaurants we visited are highly recommended, e.g. The Old Steamer, The Tug, Brauhaus, Altstadt, Ankerplatz, The Trading Post, Café Anton, Two Beards Coffee shop to name a few. We just love the vibe in Swakop!

Fantastic town, loads to do, clean, beautiful and full of character. My favorite town through South Africa and Namibia so far.
