Welcome to Leopard Corner Lodge,
Our Lodge is named after a young male leopard who lives in the forest/greenbelt area adjacent to our Lodge.
Leopard Corner Lodge is a luxury 4 Star Guest House with 9 en-suite bedrooms that can accommodate up to 26 guests.
All of the Guest Rooms at Leopard Corner Lodge are named after the prey of the majestic predator, the Leopard. From small antelope, like the Duiker, to huge trophy buck like the Eland & Koedoe, Leopard Corner’s Room names cover the entire spectrum of possible “leopard food”.
Leopard Corner Lodge is the sister Lodge of Leopard Tree Lodge (a self-catering lodge, down the street from Leopard Corner Lodge) and has the perfect location in our beautiful town of St Lucia, away from the hustle and bustle of the town.
Our Lodge is not surrounded by 4 concrete walls, which allows our guests to enjoy a view of the forest and experience the wildlife St Lucia has to offer. Since located on the edge of the forest/greenbelt area surrounding St Lucia (not enclosed by 4 walls around us), our guests have the advantage of seeing hippos passing the Lodge at nighttime, a few meters away from the Lodge, busy grazing in the forest adjacent to our Lodge. Other animals to view from the Lodge are various species of birds, monkeys, different species of antelope, warthog, bushpig and the occasional leopard and hyena.
When the cycads are in bloom, it is common to see the many species of birds that come to feed on the variety of red seeds produced by our Cycads in the garden. St Lucia has the largest number of different bird species found together, in one place, out of the entire continent of Africa.
Upon arrival at Leopard Corner Lodge, our guests are welcomed and provided with a map of St Lucia, the town, and the nearby iSimangaliso Wetland Park, showing both the Eastern Shores and the Western Shores Game Reserves.
Free secure and open parking is available at the Lodge but limited to 1 vehicle per room.
Leopard Corner Lodge is wheelchair friendly and 4 of our rooms are 100% wheelchair accessible.
Each of the rooms has its own cooler box for guests to use. We recommend packing it full of refreshments for a picnic lunch when visiting the Wetland Park.
Our Lodge has a communal braai (gas braai only)/social area, located at the pool area, for the exclusive use by our guests only.
Each of our rooms are fitted with high quality hospitality range mattresses.
Our lodge has back-up power supply in case of power failures/load shedding. We are equipped with a 54Kva silent diesel generator. as well as solar power.
PERFECT LOCATION:
Our Lodge is one of very few accommodation establishments in St Lucia that is located on the edge of the forest/greenbelt area surrounding St Lucia and is within walking distance away from the beaches and the town. Situated in the street closest to the beach, away from the hustle & bustle of the town, our guests will enjoy a calm and relaxing stay with us.
There are many different tours and activities that can be enjoyed in and around St Lucia. All of these, including game drives to 3 game reserves surrounding or close to St Lucia (Eastern Shores, Western Shores and Hluhluwe game reserves), Ocean Explore & Fishing Adventure, turtle breeding tours, snorkeling tours at Cape Vidal, boat cruises on the Estuary, deep sea fishing excursions etc, can ALL be arranged and booked from Leopard Corner’s reception office.

Lovely lodge I enjoyed every second.
Esmarie and Charlie were perfect hosts, incredibly bubbly, helpful and proactive. The rooms were perfect, and the breakfasts served were really 5 star - I've had inferior meals at 5-star international hotels! The pool area was wonderful to relax in and Leopard Corner is wonderful quiet and relaxing. I can recommend LC and Esmarie without hesitation and I WILL be going back!
I visit St Lucia regularly and this accommodation was really good.
Accommodation is good, clean and comfortable. Hostess Elmarie could not do enough for us. She and Fortunate went above and beyond to make our stay amazing.

Friendly and cozy convenient to town.
We arrived to a well presented. Extremely clean place. The host was friendly and made us feel welcome right away breakfast was awesome and served fresh and hot every morning. The rooms were cleaned daily, every night after a full day of sight seeing we were able to sit and relax at the pool, and have a hot bath. The rooms are modern and up to date. And noise is limited to normally everyday sounds.
Very good

St Lucia Reviews
We went to St Lucia Villa Mia 5 to recover after operation. Absolutely beautiful place. Our own private braai area right at pool. Due to my medical condition we could not go out but our hosts arranged food delivery for us from nearly all the restaurants in St Lucia. One night there was guests that were intoxicated and loud. We informed our hosts who in return got the caretaker at the property in minutes and he resolved the issue. Will definitely book again. Thanks to the workers at Villa Mia that were always willing to run and get us something we needed in town. It felt like home and we will always remember our trip. Next time we will definitely visit all the attractions that St Lucia has to offer.
