Afrikhaya Guest House offers an uniquely designed Afro-contemporary styled home set in a tropical garden with sparkling swimming pool. The guesthouse has 5 spacious and elegantly furnished air-conditioned rooms with en-suite bathroom. All airconditioned rooms have there own entrance and a private patio or deck outside. The open plan bathrooms are ensuite with luxurious rain shower, toilet and basin. The Superior room has a bathroom with spacious walk in rain shower and separate bath.
All beds are extra length and box spring; King size, Queen or Twin beds are available.

Afrikhaya is situated in the quiet residential part of St.Lucia which is within the iSimangaliso Wetland Park. The unique village is nestled between the warm waters of the Indian Ocean and the St.Lucia estuary. Situated a 2.5 hours drive North of Durban in KwaZulu-Natal on the Elephant Coast. We enjoy a Subtropical climate which ensures good weather all year round for outdoor activities and the area is Malaria free. St.Lucia is the southern gateway into iSimangaliso ( greater St.Lucia) Wetland Park, South Africa's first World Heritage Site. Hluhluwe iMfolozi Big 5 Game Reserve is a 50 minutes drive from St.Lucia. A huge variety of tours and eco-activities are available which can be arranged from the accommodation. Strolling along pristine beaches or through our picturesque little village, enjoying a sundowner at the estuary overlooking our resident hippos and crocodiles, are a relaxing way of ending the day in this Place of Wonder.
