Peter Pan Place offers charming and homely duplex cottages located in a secure complex in Leisure Bay, Port Edward. The complex is 200 m from two spectacular and safe swimming beaches: Kidd’s Beach and Peter Pan Bay. The units are laid out in a crescent pattern ensuring privacy and unspoilt views across the Lala palm-studded lawns to the ocean backdrop.
Each duplex unit comprises 3 bedrooms on the upper level, each with ceiling fans. The lower level boasts a lounge, dining room, kitchen, and guest toilet, as well as an outdoor patio with a braai/BBQ area. Each unit also includes a lock-up garage, laundry yard, and an outdoor shower with hot water for your convenience after a day at the beach.
A water backup system, gas cookers, and emergency lights – to be self-sufficient in times without water and electricity – are provided.
The swimming pool, recreation area (table tennis table and darts), and children's playground offer on-site fun, relaxation, and activities to ensure peace of mind within the unobtrusive perimeter security fence.
Being a family establishment, with “free-range” children roaming about, we have a “friendly” pet-friendly policy, where dogs may be accommodated in specific units, by prior arrangement only.

Leisure Bay is a small coastal village located on the Lower South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal. This seaside village beckons with unspoilt swimming beaches, gorgeous sub-tropical vegetation, rock and surf fishing, surfing, boogie boarding, sunbathing and snorkelling.
If the continuous beach life does not grab you, there are numerous other activities for the family, including a clamber over rocks to Glenmore Beach, and the Umtamvuna Nature Reserve - virtually an unknown paradise that is wonderful for hikers and boasts amazing waterfalls and rainforest. Trails include a selection of hikes that range from easy to achieve in an hour to the roughly six-hour Nkonka Trail.
For those not ready for a hike at all, there are also 500-metre walks. The reserve is only for day visits so make sure you see the forested gorge, the clear streams the magnificent views and the sandstone koppies.

The proximity of the cottage to Kid's Beach - it was a stones-throw away from the accommodation which worked so well for us.
