Kingfisher Lodge is conveniently located about 15 minutes from Durban's CBD, 15 minutes from King Shaka International Airport, and 5 minutes from Gateway Shopping Complex and Umhlanga Ridge Business Parks. Kingfisher Lodge is located close to the N2 Highway on KwaZulu-Natal's Dolphin Coast.
Spectacular views over the Mount Edgecombe Golf Estate with facilities designed specifically for the corporate traveler, makes Kingfisher Lodge a truly memorable executive sanctuary and golfers paradise. The lodge overlooks the beautiful Mount Edgecombe Golf Estate. The Mount Edgecombe Country Club CC consists of two championship courses, both with their own clubhouses. The golf course is located a meager 500m from Kingfisher Lodge and 30 minutes drive north of Durban International Airport .
In pristine condition, this beautiful course has an interesting layout, characterized by attractive water features and large, multi-tiered greens planted with country club grass. The Mount Edgecombe 's Course One, formerly the Hullets Country Club, was redesigned by Hugh Baiocchi and incorporates a stunning residential estate in an ecologically maintained environment. Note that this is one of the few courses in South Africa designed to USGA specifications. The signature holes of this parkland course are also known as Amen corner, and they consist of the 14th to 16th and water hazards play a part in all three of them. Water guards the beautiful green on the par-five 14th followed by a dam that has to be carried to reach both the par-three 15th and par-four 16th.

I have had the most amazing experience. Was like being in a home away from home. staff and management super friendly. everything met our expectations and I will recommend Kingfisher to anybody wanting an atmosphere to just relax.

Thanks to the staff and management for a wonderful stay during the long weekend. We were 4 families with kids. Kids had a gala time because of the space the lodge offered. Definitely value for money. Ashish M.
Stayed here with my husband and 2 kids in Dec. staff are extremely helpful and pleasant. our suite met all our needs, clean, neat , spacious. this lodge is 2min away from Cornubia mall. breakfast was good too will stay here again
I would recommend this hotel to anybody. We got there early and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. The rooms were excellent and the view from the room was stunning. I really should commend the staff - they are amazing!
