The best place ever, we enjoyed our stay and wish we could stay longer, its so close to the mountain, the animals on our door steps was the highlight. Safe and very nice and cosy. We definitely going back!!

What a beautiful place to stay in an absolutely stunning part of the world. The animals and scenery made it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a braai with the family. We loved it, and would thoroughly recommend a visit!!
We had a wonderful time. Kids really enjoyed having wildlife on our doorstep and even named the zebras.
We loved our stay at Franschoek Country Cottages! Our cottage was so well equipped, beautiful peaceful setting in between the majestic mountains surrounded by the wild animals. Our house was super clean, our king size bed with beautiful white linen the perfect way to end off a busy day and night of sight seeing and eating at all the remarkable stops in the area. A true hidden gem! We are definitely giving a 5 star rating - Lance went the extra mile with recommendations and we loved the self check in service! Thanks for a remarkable stay, we'll definitely be back soon.
A quiet and tranquil get away within touching distance of the mountains. Can watch the zebra, buck and wildebeest grazing outside your stoep (veranda). No TV and no internet but lots of good wine tasting.
Had lovely stay for two nights on our own. Quiet and peaceful. The view with the zebra, wildebeest and springbok grazing and coming to drink water close by is amazing. The cottage is country style and nice with no TV. Made a nice fire in the indoor fire place every night with wood available to buy from the housekeeper.

Always a pleasure to go to a beautiful, clean well-run town. You can walk the town & find great restaurants, interesting shops & even play boules.
The Wine Train for sure
So many wonderful places to eat including lovely outdoor courtyards with live music; lovely bespoke shops plus some necessities like Clicks; incredible world-class wine estates with wine tasting & pairing experiences and the wine tram; lovely accommodation well-tiered; safe to walk around. For an outstanding experience and meal I would recommend La Petite Colombe on Leeu estates.
