Thali Thali Game Reserve and lodge can accommodate up to 29 people and offers an ideal laid-back West Coast style atmosphere. Owners Thys and Amalia van Niekerk invite you to come and experience hospitality at it's best.
In Room Facilities:
The accomodation at Thali Thali consist of 3 West Coast Style chalets and 5 Glamping tents which are spread out in a circle around an entertainment area with bar facilities, restaurant and a open-air lapa.
Area Information:
We boast a wide range of game like cape buffalo, water buffalo, kudu, oryx, giraffe, sable antelope, eland, zebra, springbok, blue wildebeest, red hartebeest, duiker, bontebok, steenbok, ostrich, dromedary camel and emu. The reserve is also home to many different bird species.

Game Drives
We offer a choice of four open game viewing vehicles with different capacities to adapt to the needs of our guests. Our trained guides will take you on an informative 90 minute drive where you will have an excellent chance of spotting all our featured species. All game viewing is strictly non-smoking due to the high risk of fire in our fynbos habitat. No guests are allowed to go on game viewing excursions in their own vehicles.
Cost : R300 per person (+/- 90 minutes); R150 for children 5-12 years; Children under 5 go for free
Archery
From the novice to the seasoned archer – we have something to interest all. If you are new to the sport, book an archery lesson with our coaches or visit our bow shop. If you are an old timer to the sport, come and enjoy our 3D archery course. The course simulates real life hunting situations and has 23 life sized 3D rubber animal targets. You can use your own bow or rent one from the shop. Lessons strictly by appointment

Lovely small game lodge. More about unwinding and relaxing though in the wonderful restaurant and rooms rather than game viewing. Just see that as a bonus!

Nice and warm bed… electric blanket!
Feels like in the Bush… peaceful. If you need a break… relax here. Close to so many other places.
Clean with the basic that you need fir camping. and the food at restaurant tasteful and really good priced.

Very nice bush experience getaway. Game very tame and come right up to tent to say hello. Staff were very friendly. The tents had everything we needed.
We booked 2 nights during the school holidays for myself my wife and our 6yr old son. We had a absolutely lovely time. The game drive and the bow shooting was a top experience although the drive somewhat rough and tumble! Gave our little animal lover some close encounters.
The deer are wonderful and tame and was cuddled somewhat on their visit. The scorpion was a surprise too so be weary of your step.
The food was tasty and portions substantial. Overall very good value and a memorable occasion.

We had a lovely stay at Thali Thali. The staff was very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to ensure we feel at home. Our Game driver girl was a lovely friendly down to earth girl that knew what she was talking about and could answer all of our questions. The food was excellent - had a burger for lunch and as my husband said, probably the best burger he had in a long time. Included in our stay was a very nice breakfast. Our only problem was the shower that was blocked, but upon notifying them they immediately said they would attend to it. I can recommend Thali Thali Game Lodge for a nice quiet relaxing stay.

whole place ,malls nearby and an casino 2 minutes away
Good seefood restaurant
A bit of everything. The cruise was our favourite. Captain Hans was amazing, our 3rd trip with him. And for the kids, the fun park.
The sunsets are amazing and being close to the beach.
