The Retreat Guest Farm is situated on Piket-Bo-Berg, approximately 150km outside Cape Town, Western Cape. The self catering farmhouse is tucked away on a small almond farm which is part of a large fruit farming business.

The Piketberg mountain range has a Cape Fynbos climate with numerous plant and insect species unique to the area. The guest house is ideal for those seeking relaxation and privacy.

There are numerous activities including fynbos walks, mountain biking, bass fishing, kayaking, swimming and adventure biking.

THE MAIN HOUSE
Retreat farm guest house is a 4 bedroom self catering house that can be rented for a weekend getaway or for longer holiday periods. The house sleeps 8 people making it ideal for larger groups of friends and family and it is rented as a unit. Two double rooms and two rooms with twin beds, all en-suite. Both double rooms have queen size beds. All bathrooms have showers. A large kitchen with all amenities, utensils and a dishwasher. A lounge with TV and a Queen-Ann stove for cozy winter evenings. Guests bring their own DSTV decoder and card. An enclosed stoep with an indoor braai and comfortable seating, overlooking the garden and orchards. An outside braai is also provided for peaceful summer evenings. Firewood is provided. All linen and bath towels are provided; guests bring their own swimming towels.

SOMERLUS COTTAGE
Somerlus Cottage is a 3 bedroom self-catering house that can be rented for a weekend getaway, long weekends or for longer holiday periods.The house sleeps 6 people making it ideal for larger groups of friends and family and it is rented out as a whole unit. Three bedrooms with options for twin beds or king size beds, all ensuite with private shower. The main bedroom has a king size bed with ensuite shower and bath with spectacular views. All bedrooms have a fan for summer and electric blankets & wall heaters for the chilly winter months. All bathrooms have showers.
A large kitchen with all amenities, utensils and a Smeg dishwasher. There are two fridges & freezers and a Smeg gas hob and electric oven. There is a Nespresso machine & a few pods provided. An open plan living area connected to the kitchen with a large dining table, indoor fire place & lounge area. The lounge boasts amazing views of the dam and rock formations on the farm. There is a bluetooth sound system, games & collection of books for guests to enjoy. Guests have access to DSTV, however need to bring their own decoder and card.A large covered stoep with large braai and outside seating areas. The outside braai is lovely on peaceful summer evenings. All firewood is provided during your stay. All linen and bath towels are provided; guests bring their own swimming towels.

LANGBERG COTTAGE
Langberg Cottage is a 2 bedroom self catering house that can be rented for a weekend getaway or for longer holiday periods. The house sleeps 4 people making it ideal for a couple, family with 2 children, or a small group of very good friends. One main bedroom with queen size bed and one bedroom with twin beds. The two bedrooms share a bathroom with walk-in shower, basin and loo.A large kitchen with all amenities, utensils, microwave, gas stove and oven, fridge and freezer.A large stoep with braai/barbeque and outside seating areas.
The outside barbecue is lovely on peaceful evenings. All firewood is provided during your stay.
