Elianthe Guesthouse is a Victorian building over 180 years old, which has been renovated to become a country retreat for many. Each room is decorated tastefully in a Transitional style. Beds are made with high quality white linens and coffee/tea tray is filled with home baked rusks. A breakfast is served in the dining room for an extract cost. We bring a personal touch to everything we do, which makes this the perfect place to stay to experience the countryside. We are grateful and very happy to announce

Invertors and the Solar panels that can easily service
the entire Guesthouse for a substantial amount of time during loadshedding.
All the rooms lead onto a patio/terrace and have easy access to the garden and pool area with seating areas. With an en-suite bathroom with shower/bath. Rooms are filled with coffee/tea tray with home baked rusks, mini/bar fridge, hairdryer, closet space/hooks, hangers, fan/heater, extra blankets, electrical blankets during winter time. Beds are made with white cotton percale linens and white bath towels. For those travelling with babies, we have a camping cot on request. Free WIFI and flat screen TV with limited cable TV.

The room was very small but clean. The bed was absolutely gorgeous.
Elianthe haben wir als Zwischenstopp während der Reise von CT nach Knysna gewählt. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer und Weitläufigkeit der Anlage würde definitiv auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt passen.
Wir hatten die Haneymoon Suite. Diese liegt leider etwas nahe an der Hauptstraße, so dass es ab ca 7 Uhr laut wurde im Zimmer. Die Nacht über war jedoch so gut wie kein Verkehr, so dass der Schlaf sehr erholsam war.
Wir sind mit Kleinkind gereist, welches toll im schön angelegten Garten spielen konnte und vom Personal überall betüdelt wurde. Der Pool ist nicht für Kleinkinder geeignet - zu tief.
Tolles Frühstück, leckere Eier, schöner Frühstücksraum.
Eine Empfehlung!!

La Belle Alliance restaurant is AMAZING for breakfast!
I enjoyed Aan De Eike Guesthouse, My room were clean and the service were excellent.I felt very safe enjoyed every moment since I arrived. Swellendam is beautiful with most beautiful views. The location was very convenient and would recommend The Republican Restaurant. The food and vibe were awesome. It's safe to walk in Swellendam, what a beautiful place for entertainment

Scenery, the residents, the roads are in great condition (compared to many many many other towns/cities in SA).
Wildebraam Estate. Friendly people. No traffic. Has all the shops and places one needs.
