Featuring 9 Ocean View Rooms, a fully equipped activity centre and plenty of amazing spots to enjoy the unique views of the Indian Ocean and Inhaca Island. Surrounded by 5 marine and nature reserves, this is a unique AFRICAN beach paradise.
Machangulo Beach Lodge features 9 Ocean View Rooms. Each room has an en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning, mosquito nets and private deck. All the rooms are connected by walkways and staircases to the main buildings and the beach.
Area Information:Machangulo Beach Lodge is located at the centre of this grand battle between the open Indian Ocean and the estuaries of Maputo Bay, the channel between Inhaca Island and the dunes of the Santa Maria Peninsula. Your boat journey through the endless channels of the bay ends on the Lodge's secluded beach.
Mozambique has a wonderful climate. The summers can be very hot but the Lodge's position is ideal, the cool dune forest, and air conditioning, will ensure your comfort. One is very unlikely to experience multiple rainy days in a row and most of our rains come in the form of quick thunderstorms. Mozambique experiences rain mainly during November - April, while August is the driest month.
Property Facilities:Machangulo Beach Lodge's striking main building includes a large inviting lounge with bar area and large dining area. Hidden behind the main building is the Boma area where evenings are spent beside the fire while enjoying the tranquil Mozambican nights, discussing the day's catch and strategizing about tomorrow's big one! Situated near the beach is our Beach Bar where the vibrant atmosphere is kept alive from dawn to way past dusk! A pool and deck are situated by the Beach Bar for you to cool down before an afternoon siesta.

Very special holiday destination. The town is small, but you can get the basic food stuffs. Good fishing spots, deep sea fishing, walking trails and the best sun downer cocktail bar on the beach.
