Our home from home comfort makes your stay with us stress-free. Umdloti is one of the best-kept secrets of the KwaZulu-Natal North Coast. Situated at the mouth of the Mdloti River, this quaint coastal village offers beautiful beaches with its very own rock enclosed tidal pool, and scenic coastal views, including whale and dolphin watching in season. The warm Indian Ocean is associated with holidays, fun, swimming, and relaxation.
PLEASE NOTE: The balance payment as well as the breakage deposit of R1000 is to be settled 7 days prior arrival. Keys will only be handed over once the full payment has been received. If you have requested a check-in over a Sat, Sun or Public Holiday we charge an additional R900 check-in fee that gets paid directly to us with the breakages deposit that is not included in the quote.

Great place, clean and beautiful view of the sea. Highly recommend.
Very beautiful and clean place. The only suggestion is for them to install automatic air fresheners for the smell. My family and I enjoyed our stay.
What an absolute gem! We often go to Durban for a beach break with the kids and this has been by far one of the best, the kids quickly let us know "we want to stay at no 9 umdloti every single year!" The apartment is so gorgeous, clean with modern finishes, right on the beach front, breathtaking beach views, there is a spar and a few restaurants just a stone throw away. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back again.

Umdloti has very conveniently located magnificent stretches of pristine golden beaches with shark nets, clear water, large safe tidal pool, delightful paved walks beside the sea and outstanding restaurants like Mundo Vida with sea views. Simple open air changing rooms like those seen on European beaches would be an improvement.
