Situated on a 4500ha game reserve located between Mossel Bay and George, and set in amongst spectacular mountain ranges, the child-friendly (children aged 6 yrs and over are welcome) and malaria-free Botlierskop. This Private Game Reserve offers an immense diversity of wildlife and activities coupled with luxurious, tented accommodation in beautifully appointed private suites discreetly positioned along the riverbank. The reserve comprises of over 26 different species of animals and more than 200 bird species. Wildlife at the reserve includes the rare Black Impala, Rhino, Buffalo, Giraffe, Elephants, Hippo's, Mountain Zebra, Eland, Cheetah and Lions. Activities guests can enjoy includes, horseback safaris, guided game drives and spa treatments .
Each of the luxury tented and air-conditioned suites at Botlierskop are elegantly adorned in a romantic colonial theme with 4-poster beds draped in mosquito nets. The en-suite facilities are lavishly equipped with deep baths, open-air showers and stunning panoramas. The Manor House has 7 rooms, some with shower and bath and some with showers only, overlooking the plains of Botlierskop and guests have a good change of spotting game during the late afternoon. The Executive suites has a inroom fireplace and Jacuzzi overlooking the river. Superior suties has inroom fireplaces and smart TV were as the Deluxe has inroom fireplaces.

Each of the 17 luxury tented and air-conditioned suites at Botlierskop are elegantly adorned in a romantic colonial theme with 4-poster beds draped in mosquito nets. Each tent is secluded and are lavishly equipped with deep baths, open-air showers, mini bar, telephone, safe, coffee & tea making facilities, electrical blanket, heater/air-con and private deck. Bathrobe, slippers, guest amenities and towels are provided. Superior, Deluxe, Super-deluxe and Executive suites also available (some with private Jacuzzi, inroom fireplaces and smart TV)
Area Information:Botlierskop is easily accessible from Cape Town, a 4 hour scenic drive and lies in the world renowned Garden Route, just of the N2. The reserve is set in a malaria-free area and is in close proximity to George Airport, a 25 minute drive. Mossel Bay (20 minutes away) is known for it's history. A well run, wonderful getaway, with nature at your doorstep.
We loved it!
This was a fantastic babymoon getaway for me and my partner. We enjoyed every single moment of our stay. The staff were amazing and made us feel like we were home. I would highly recommend this place.

We spent a day at your reserve and thoroughly enjoyed it. After a tasty breakfast, we enjoyed a game drive and finished our visit off with coffee on your deck. Our 2 year old granddaughter had an amazing time too. Lovely staff. Thank you for a fantastic day out!
What a wonderful little gem. Everything from accommodation to food to the hosts were excellent and exceeded our expectations. Looking forward to returning in April 19 for part of our Honeymoon :)

Your suppers and breakfasts were absolutely fabulous.....thank you for making the weekend a wonderful memory. Oh yes and the game drive with Rika was outstanding....his very knowledgeable and made the drive so interesting. We will definitely be returning!!

A wonderfully relaxed haven. The staff were very friendly and helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble. Very peaceful and tremendously beautiful country. The spa treatment (rungo massage) was bliss. I will definitely be back.
What an amazing experience! From arrival to departure we felt so special. Beautiful setting, stunning accommodation, wonderful food and such friendly and helpful staff. A highlight was the private game drive. The picnic in the company of our expert guide and some awesome hippos is definitely worth remembering!
