Semi-self-catering, 2 bedroom unit, at the tranquil sought after La Paloma Estate in Big Bay, Bloubergstrand.
Visitors who are looking for a unique accommodation experience, can book this “homestay”… giving you the opportunity to live like a local in a private home, still offering you the necessary privacy to make your stay comfortable while you enjoy the beautiful seaside location of Bloubergstrand.
The rental unit is attached but completely sectioned off from the main home. Guests have a private guest entrance on the side of the property. Parking space available.
The main bedroom consists of a double bed, writing desk, Chairs, television with DSTV (all channels), bar fridge, microwave and kettle. Please note that this is only a semi self-catering unit - no kitchen. The 2nd bedroom also has a double bed and TV. Wi-Fi available.
The two rooms share 1 bathroom with a shower, bath, basin and toilet. The main bedroom leads out onto the garden and swimming pool area.
The unit can sleep maximum 2 adults and 2 children (under 12)
Both rooms are equipped with soft furnishings, white linen, offering our guests a comfortable yet elegant space to relax in and to enjoy all the beautiful things that Blouberg has to offer.
Ideal accommodation for families, holidaymakers and corporates, who like to experience a private, yet homely accommodation option in a beautiful setting. Kiteboarders and surfers will enjoy the close proximity to Big Bay, a world-renowned Kite Surf/surfing/SUP destination.
La Paloma borders on the Blaauwberg Conservation area and it is only a short walk to the beach. Eden on The Bay and Seaside Village is also close to La Paloma, offering shopping and dining at popular Beachfront restaurants.

The beach.
Dining out, walking on the beach.
They are not far from shops even if I use Uber it's not expensive.
It is quiet and serene. The beach is easy to access and many people run on the beach or next to it. A great place to visit if you enjoy being active. Also, a very dog friendly place. I would recommend Mozambik for a relaxed meal, but be prepared for noise: it is a very popular location! Both Table Mountain and Robben Island are visisble from Blouberstrand. with Uber, you can get around pretty easily to just about any location.
The beach
We want to thank Marko and his team for their friendliness and welcoming us with open arms on the 4th of July 2022. He gave us a tour through the apartment and made sure that we had all the things we need. The apartment was well cleaned and had all the equipment needed. It is walking distance to the beach and there is a lot of restaurants to choose from in the area. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend it for anyone. Sunset court will definitely see us again. Thank you Marko for everything.
The view, the beach, the constant seeing of law enforcement. The restaurants, everything is good.
I love everything about Bloubergstrand, quietness, I get peace of mind whenever I'm there, I'm even thinking of moving in for real.
