Mbizi Bush Lodge's spacious air-conditioned chalets have a private entrance and a view over the bush from private verandas. From your double bed, you will enjoy the sounds from the bush, birds singing in the morning and lions and hyenas calling in the night.

The chalets feature en-suite bathrooms with separate toilet, a shower and free toiletries that are replenished daily.

The rooms are decorated in contemporary African stile. In your room, you will find complimentary tea and coffee, facilities for early morning coffee and a minibar for sun-downers on your private veranda.

All chalets are nonsmoking. The 42m² chalet also features overhead fan, safe, wardrobe and hair dryer.

Mbizi Bush Lodge is situated perfectly for a day trip to the famous Kruger National Park, just 25 km from the Kruger Phalaborwa Gate. Kruger National Park offers an excellent opportunity to watch a variety of African bird- and wildlife.

Watch the sun rise over the African bush from a hot air balloon. This is an early morning experience, where you will see the animals from the air as they awake. You will be awarded certificates after the tour, and as balloonist tradition tells, the landing will be celebrated with a glass of champagne.

Sleep out under the stars.

After an evening drive in an open game watching vehicle in Grietjie PNR, a barbeque or braai as they say in South Africa will be prepared. Then the sleeping bags are rolled out and you spend the night under the stars. The following morning there will be a game walk in the area. Breakfast will be served at Mbizi. It is expected that you participate in the practical work on the trip, such as preparing the dinner and be on watch for an hour during the night.
The Hans Merensky Golf Estate offers a beautiful 18 holes, par 72 golf course. You can meet giraffes, monkeys and impalas on the fairway. A very special golf experience.
This is an early morning activity, you will leave Mbizi around 5 o'clock to join the morning walk in the Tshukudu game reserve where young lions or cheetahs will follow you closely.
Brunch will be served at Tshukudu after the walk.

* Moholoholo

Moholoholo is a rehabilitation centre for wild animals that have either been abandoned, injured or poisoned. Among others, you will meet lions, leopards, eagles and vultures at the centre.

* Panorama Route

Take a nice day trip and enjoy the encounter of magnificent nature sceneries in the Mpumalanga Highveld. Lunch can be enjoyed in the quiet town of Graskop where souvenir shopping for carved wooden sculptures and African silk also is possible.

This is a 3-hour cruise on The Mighty Olifants River, where you will get the opportunity to study hippos and crocodiles as well as watch the game of the bush when they come to the river to drink by the end of the day.
