Excellent place and felt like I'm @ home

This was our second visit. We spent the weekend from 12-15 October 2018. We had yet another beautiful experience. Joanne and her team provided excellent customer service and went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect. Beautiful scenery and hiking trails, stunning views, great experience to dwell around with Zebra, Giraffe, antelope and other animals on the property. Rooms are well equipped and very cozy. Braai area is always cleaned and fire wood is stocked up daily at your convenience. A stunning destination to getaway from the hustle and bustle in the city. Tranquility at its finest. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a getaway spot to relax and unwind. We will definitely be going back for our third time. Keep up the excellent service Joanne and team.

Joanne was very kind and welcoming and the place is very clean and well furnished, above all safe and exclusive. Definitely going back there soon. Wildlife was a wonderful scene, we didn't have to travel far and wide to see the various beautiful animals. It was very relaxing for everybody. Days just went by very fast.

Stayed here on the weekend of 31 Aug 18... Best when you're looking for a break from the city, the rooms are nice, clean and cozy, perfect for the family. unfortunately the pool was too cold when we went. lovely views and hiking trails, even had a close encounter with the zebras.

Thank you to Joanne, she gave us a warm welcome when we arrived. This is a lovely place to stay, the cabins are really nice and cozy and not to close to the other cabins so you have some privacy. We had an awesome weekend and cant wait to come back.

This was a gem of a place. A perfect cabin in the woods.
Lets take a moment to appreciate Joanne - such a kind, welcoming host. The cabin itself was so cozy and clean and fit my expectations perfectly. I find self catering places a challenge most times because of the bathrooms but this cabin was clean and refreshing. The views are spectacular and the hike up the mountain was so worth it. Loved seeing the giraffes and zebras. Loved my stay. A perfect weekend getaway. Thanks Joanne.

Great place to visit just an hour outside of Johannesburg. Take a walk in the bush with a chance to see some wild game. Fireplace under the African skies are priceless. The chalets have all you need for your self-catering needs.

Excellent, for just a quick getaway from the hustle and rat race of the city. Joanne the host made us feel extremely welcome. Close to coffee shops if you want to get out, yet the attraction of no TV and internet made it stunning.

- Rented two chalets, more than adequate room for the adults and children.
- Chalets were spotless, well fitted out and there were useful extras like firewood, matches, dish washing liquid, etc
- Thoroughly enjoyed the hikes and cycling plus, the animal and bird life were an extra treat.

The lodge has amazing and great surroundings, and views. Our highlight was the 10km hike up the mountain. We also spotted game. The chalets are nicely decorated, I like the South African cultural touch. And a bonus was sitting around the fire till midnight!
Overall, Intaba Thulile was exactly what I needed to shut down and get away from the city.
