The service experienced from Rene (the owner) was excellent from telephoning to ensure that we had arrived safely, booking a restaurant for our dinner and arranging an early breakfast on a Sunday to suite our departure time. Our room was fully equipped with all you could want and was spotless - as was the entire guest house. The breakfast was more than substantial. Located in the centre of town (but in a reasonably quiet area) with secure parking it is a perfect spot to stop over. It was a pleasure staying here compared to our previous stay just outside Douglas where the setting on the river was magnificent but the hospitality appalling with no attention to detail. We will certainly be back in the future.
Staff are always friendly and helpful, I always enjoy my stay at Rene's, rooms are well equipped, and food are always well prepared, nice and tasty. If you need something they will always help or try to advise you.
The guesthouse provide safe parking and is situated in a safe area with friendly personal working, great breakfast is provided, well heated room for winter time and well cooled rooms for summer time.

The safety and it is a great town to get out of Johannesburg.
Tarred town roads. Lots of interesting places to visit. Clean. The Vaal River. The best way to travel there is via the tarred road from Kimberley.
Gletservloere, river confluence, people are friendly, great town.
