Reviews
Facilities and service was excellent and professional with that welcoming personal touch.
Great place will definitely recommend, bedroom units very clean and comfortable.
We really enjoyed our 2 days here. The game drives were the priority, of course, and Riaan went out of his way to ensure we saw as many animals as possible. He shared his immense knowledge of all kinds of animals and birds, which was almost as important as actually seeing them! Didn't get to see lion but cheetah (+cubs), hippo, rhinos, elephants, wildebeest, zebra, jackal, buffalo. Rooms are spacious and well designed with an outdoor shower as well as a full conventional bathroom. Honesty bar in the attractive lounge with fair prices. The pool if fine for cooling down during the day. Copious breakfast including a wide range of hot options cooked to order. Dinner from a short a la carte menu well prepared and nicely presented. Everyone on the staff team was friendly, courteous and keen to ensure we had a good experience. Highly recommended!
The rooms were lovely-large and spacious. The outdoor shower was great. There's a nice outdoor area that has been recently built. They had a small a la carte menu. Food was good and portions were large. The best part was the safaris. Pilanesberg is great for seeing animals up close. We were able to see lions, rhinoceros, buffalo, cheetahs and lots of animals-and they were close. The lodge stay included two drives a day. Each drive was about 2-3 hours long. I would definitely visit again.
Nine luxury suites with spacious full en-suite bathrooms boasting modern finishes including private courtyard. Some suites have an exterior shower under the African sky. Two of the suites are family suites with open upstairs mezzanine lofts offering two additional single beds in each. One suite is an executive/ honeymoon suite.
Maximum number of guests we accommodate is 20 due to safari vehicle restrictions.
The host made the best for our stay. Good dinner and nice safari experience. We could see the animals that a expected. Good rooms. Really clean and comfortable. Jacquie made the best to help us. I recommend
Our stay at Morokolo has been awesome. Lebo and Humbu made us feel welcome and explained everything very well. The room itself is very spacious and has everything you need. Do note that you CAN turn off the lantern that hangs outside on the roof.
The game drives were very great, the black rhino game reserve is beautiful and diverse. The occasional trip to Pilanesberg is also fun.
Food was outstanding, with different options every day. We were sorry to leave and the stay at Morokolo has made our trip to South Africa even better.
Friendly staff, great food (tasty and large portions), confortable room, excelent drives!
Our Guide (Ryan) was really dedicated to provide us the best safari experience. Always spotting the car in the best sites for pictures and apreciating. Always nice and providing us with good information.
At the hotel we had ever great receptions, with hot toals and a very good meal. And making us confortable in the gap between safaris.
Thank you Jacqui, Ryan, Redemption and our great chef for the great experience.
We really enjoyed our stay here. It was excellent value with a 15% book direct discount. The lodge, particularly our suite was very well appointed, attractive and as good as many lodges twice the price and more. The staff were charming and the food delicious. The highlight of our stay was the excellent guide Rian. He has encyclopaedic knowledge of all the fauna and flora of the Bush and despite thinking of ourselves as seasoned bush goers, we learnt so much from him and very much enjoyed his approach to game drives. I would highly recommend this lodge and hope to return.

Pilanesberg Reviews
Game reserve was amazing ... beautiful landscape!
Wild animals and the nature.
Game drives. Scenery. Tented camp location.. Friendly warm staff. Clean facilities.
The game reserve and all the animals.
Everything.
Tented Adventures and game drives.
The Game Drive with an amazing ranger dubbed "the Buffalo solider", we had a free lunch which was in life's in the price.
The beautiful mountains and wild life just had me in a tranquil mode.
Definitely a do again for me.
The scenery is breathtaking and the wildlife is abundant. Sadly, the roads in the Pilanesburg are in terrible condition. Black Rhino Reserve however is well maintained and a spectacular place to visit.
ALL ANIMAL SIGHT OF ANIMALS AND RESORT FACILITIES..
Plenty of game. Routes well marked.
