One of the most vibrant and popular suburbs in Cape Town, Camps Bay lies just beyond the four beaches of Clifton in an exceptionally beautiful setting amongst the Twelve Apostles and Lion’s Head, on the other side of Table Mountain.
The beachfront of Camps Bay is a long stretch of white, palm tree-lined sand and along its length is a boulevard that forms part of a series of pavement cafes, bistros and restaurants specialising in Mediterranean fare that has earned Camps Bay its trendy and cosmopolitan character. It hums all day and in particular at night when Cape Town’s trendier set come out to play.
Homes in Camps Bay fetch a few cool million with ease and staying in the much sought after suburb has become something of a practice for many visitors, who return again and again to soak up the sun and mingle with the pavement culture.
Homes up in the reaches of Lion’s Head offer fantastic views over the Atlantic and the bay is relatively calm during the summer months offering protection from the wind and pleasant swimming conditions.

The stay and guest house was so perfect and clean the staff and breakfast was excellent couldn't ask for anything more we enjoyed our stay with the beautiful view from our bedroom window that was breath taking

Everything! Visiting from the UK We loved our 2 week stay here. It was so homely and the guys so friendly. Always there if we needed it. Breakfast was brilliant - you could have eggs anyway you liked! Made to order! Stayed in room 3, Views were amazing and everything so clean and tidy

View from the rooms are beautiful and the location of the guest house is perfect. Walking distance from Camps Bay beach and easy for Uber drivers.
Very comfortable, well located guest house in Camps Bay. Great breakfast.
But the big differentiating point is the total dedication of Gibson and his team to making your stay perfect.
Special mention goes to Hudson, who went well past the call of duty to sort out a problem we had.

I loved everything about Finchley Guesthouse. It honestly felt like a home away from home, considering that I stayed there for a whole week. The room was comfy and spacious. I stayed in a room with a sea view, and I got to see the most gorgeous sunsets. The staff were friendly and helpful - always assisting with a smile. George makes The Best breakfast!! so be prepared to pack some vacation pounds if you're on a long stay :)
The hotel is walking distance to the beach, and restaurants. There's a Pick n Pay on the beach front as well, so everything is within reach. When you stay here, be sure to walk over to the Godfather one afternoon for the best seafood lunch!
Well done to the entire team at Finchley Guesthouse. You all left quite an impression on this traveller, and I definitely hope to visit again!

There are so many thing to do here but what I enjoyed most was being centrally located with so many day trip options available.
