It was great!
Margaret and Bertus were superb hosts. The lodge is exceptionally well kept and maintained. The sheep, horses and birds add to the already exquisite landscape. The bed!!! The bed!!! Wow! I want one, no I need one lol. Thank you so very much for your hospitality. The executive suite is spectacular. The outside shower in the cold with the warm water rushing over you was exhilarating. We can’t wait for our next stay! Love H&H

Big skies...big views..and big beds. The lodge is just a few km off the Garden Route, but it’s thousands away in spirit. It’s a great place to unwind for a few days and soak-up the views while soaking in the pool. Botlierskop private nature reserve is just down the road while ten minutes the other direction there’s a good choice of restaurants in Hartenbos (there’s something about eating sushi while watching dolphins weave past the windows). The hosts Margaret are great; friendly, funny and kind.
The lodge is situated in a beautiful area with a wonderful view. The hosts are more than friendly and welcoming and the food is fabulous. The rooms are tastefully furnished and comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer!
Excellent home cooked dinner on request. The bar had very good wine at an affordable price and yes the croissants are fresh and crispy.
Owners extremely friendly and hospitable. Beds very comfortable. Facilities very good.
