Landelik mooi en rustig met n mooi tuin en diere lewe.
The room certainly exceeded our expectations- we stayed in the clemantine room, and the size was great, the shower was lovely (with a sliding door to the outside) and the bed was huge :)
Fantastic stay - within the garden, between citrus farms. The pets are lovely. Recommendation: adrenaline addo 10min walk from.
Perfect accommodation for a visit to Addo Elephant Park.
Excellent rooms, very friendly hosts and organised a half day drive through Addo Elephant Park with a wonderful driver, Emmanuel. A highlight was seeing lion and lioness up close.
The owners are awesome people and we enjoyed the facilities and the farm is really beautiful. The pool and trees make for a relaxing day with friends. The rooms are well equipped and the braai is big.
Beautiful setting and gardening, specious room, nicely furnished and decorated. Lovely hosts.
Friendly staff, freedom to walk around farm.
Far from the madding crowd, Happy Lands is aptly named. The gardens with their stunning huge trees, and citrus groves are a beautiful work of loving hands, and create what can only be described as a haven of peace. Mike and Nita were so hospitable and kind; their daughter in law's food delicious; the breakfasts wholesome and generous; wonderfully affordable rooms beautifully appointed and equipped...I slept so well I'd have happily taken the whole bed home with me. I had a Victorian claw-foot bath as well as a private outdoor shower that was really pretty, secluded and satisfying - lovely hot water, with good pressure from a great shower head, and no clogged drains. My friend's room was large and comfortable and just as well thought out. The personnel were sweet, competent, kind and polite ... should I be telling you all this, or should I keep this treasure for myself?! That's the conundrum! Having decided to share this gem with other travelers, I can only say that my friends and I were so very happy to have started our South African journey in such a beautiful place, on such a positive note. Thank you Mike and Nita for opening your hearts to so many people and sharing your home with us all. With warmth and appreciation from Hely, Elina and Che
Nice for a one night stopover.
Lovely gardens, comfy bed and pillows, all very clean.
Family history in print & framed photos made it all a lot more personal.

So many things to do! Visited the Elephant Park and saw hundreds of elephants! The privacy and peacefulness was wonderful. My fisherman husband didn't miss his fishing rod at all! The hot tub was a bit hot with all of us.
The quad biking and river safari.
Addo elephants are an experience not to be missed.
I loved the safe roads and the animals, especially the elephants.I also liked the nice shop to buy memorabilia.I also stayed close by at Avoca and this was five star treatment.I loved the tranquility and good host Riaan.
What an amazing haven to unwind and relax. Everything is Eco friendly and the staff are living examples of this. All the food was organic and delicious. The rooms are clean and comfy, The natural pool was beautiful and the location is close to the Addo Elephant National Park. We would definitely come back! Thank you for our amazing stay🙏
Beautiful scenery and very peaceful.
The animals are not scared of the vehicles travelling near them. We experienced some real magic moments in Addo.
